**@#!!*$*

I feel very sweary today.

I decided to attack the courtyard...it looks a mess and although Mr FD has been saying for weeks that he will do something about it he hasn't. (What does he do with those days when he isn't working, I ask myself) I spent 15 minutes pruning the buddleia. Yes, I'm sure it isn't the right time to do it, but as it didn't get done when it was the right time I thought I needed to do it. Also the beautiful Bleeding heart was getting smothered, so I had to do something.

I moved the lavender and pruned that back and then I straightened up. And couldn't move for back pain.

So that's it. I can't do anything else. The courtyard looks worse than it did, with the branches everywhere, the pots half moved and a mess.

And I am in quite some pain, unable to move an,d feeling decidedly GRUMPY. I've taken a Diclonofec and I've got the TENS machine on, but I am NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

I hope the pain killer will start to work soon, so I can at least move. This wasn't how I planned my day.

  1. Praying the back pain will soon be a distant memory. There's a reason it's called "weekend warrior"...lol. If you have a heating pad, use it with a moist cloth and that'll help with the pain level.
